The exhibit "Doing Business As... Artist Entrepreneurs," known as DBA, will take place at the “Gallery Six” of the Broward County Main Library in Fort Lauderdale, January 12th through February 26th, 2011. The DBA exhibit is a direct product of the business skills taught at the Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute (AEI). This show represents one of the most important annual events that promote the creative class of AEI artists.

The First Annual Exhibit "Doing Business As... Artist Entrepreneurs" took place in 2009, and was the brainchild of the founding artists, Lee Anna Yater, Virginia Fifield, and Jacklyn LaFlamme. The Second Exhibit took place in 2010, and was curated by Rachel Piering.

Liora Davis and Georgeta Fondos, both AEI graduates and active artists and art educators, are curating and organizing the Third Annual Exhibit, with support from the founding artists. Our aim is to support and continue to elevate this annual AEI event.
